This renovation in the heart of Newtown looked at maximising a typically dark narrow terrace into a bright open kitchen, dining and living space that merges with the garden. The extension celebrates inside-outside living further with a new bathroom that opens out onto an internal green courtyard whilst also allowing light penetrate the core of the building. The rustic palette of burnished concrete floors, timber and exposed brickwork was a refreshing change to the regular rendered brickwork, whilst successfully tying the new extension to the old.
